Studs & Socks

So it's been awhile since I've done a post. It's just been so busy, but I'm trying to get back in the swing of things. I've been on the hunt for a good pair of full-length overalls but keep getting short ones or dresses! I feel in love as soon as I tried this dress on. I'm a sucker for studs. It's by this really cool brand called Ragged Priest. I paired it with this black beanie & my new favorite accessory, long socks! I'm going to be rocking them all fall I've decided. Such an easy way to take an outfit to the next level.

Overalls & Snapbacks

Overalls!!!! I can't get enough. Being a 90's kid myself, I'm so into this 90's trend. I've been seeing street wear looks all over. I'm normally so girly and hate "casual" looking clothes, but lately I've been loving my converse & baseball caps for a cute & laid back look. I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of short overalls and found these guys at American Apparel. It can be hard finding ones that fit and are somewhat flattering. I'm normally a small but opted to go XS on these. And don't even get me started on these shoes! I'm obsessed. They are so unique and fun, but also extremely comfortable. I wore them the entire WWDmagic show walking around for two days straight and they didn't bother me at all. Also got some fun freebies when the ladies at the Jeffrey Campbell booth saw me rocking them!

Boots & Dots

This playful dress is from an Australian company called Afends. We were working with them at my job for awhile. They have some pretty cool stuff! I've always been a sucker for polka dots! With the drop waist this dress has a bit of a 1920's feel. I made this sweet and simple dress a bit more fierce with some boots, a denim jacket, and a bowler hat. I recently got these Jeffrey Campbells at buffalo exchange for $40, can you say score?!

Again these photos were taken by my friend Chuck Lang. It's fun working with him because he takes me out of my usual element. I'm always wanting to do very soft and feminine photos and he brings a more rough and girtty feel.

Little Black Dress

Every girl needs a lovely little black dress. I have quite a few, but this is my fancy one! When I go out dancing with friends I like to wear more classy outfits. I hate all those super tight and trashy looking club dresses! I'd rather look sophisticated than sexy. I love the embroidery detailing on the top.

Lately I have been working full-time from home and just trying to figure out my game plan on moving to LA. I'm hoping to be there by July! I have been visiting often and love life in the city. Next week I'm going up there with some friends for a girls weekend! I'm going to try and remember to bring my camera and snap some fun shots :)
