Coachella Casual

Spend this past weekend out in the desert around all the Coachella madness. I used to always go to the actual festival but it becomes less appealing to stand around in extreme heat for 3 days straight as you get older haha. I helped out at a few of the parties and attended a few as well, it's a great way to still have fun and not spend a fortune :) I got my boyfriend Phillip (AKA instagram husband) to snap a few outfit photos along the way. Below are some looks I wore over the weekend. Also wearing my new Earth Mama tee design for Revice! 

We had an awesome time and got to catch up with a bunch of my favorite influencer babes. Made me miss blogging so I decided to throw up this post and maybe do an occasional outfit post again. Hopefully I can keep up this time haha.

Coachella Day 3

Weekend two starts today and I so badly want to go again! On the last day of Coachella I decided to get a little fierce. I nearly died when I saw this dress, It's just too perfect. Got this baby at H&M just a few weeks ago, so they are probably still there so go snag yourself one! Sunday I RSVP-ed for the Lacoste Live party but totally forgot about it! After looking at Instagram and seeing my favorite fashion bloggers posting pictures there I was so bummed! Ahhh I could have meet Christina Cordona, Bonnie Barton, & Aimee Song! And the worst...Alexa Chung was there. My Idol!

Totally dropped that ball on that one.

This week I was super inspired by the fashion I saw at Coachella! Ton's of tropical prints, high wasited shorts, and adorable cropped tops. As a T-shirt designer I couldn't help but notice a bunch of awesome graphic tees. Such an amazing source of inspiration. Below I have a desert inspired design I created yesterday. Until next year Coachella!

Coachella day 2

Here are the outfits Jena and I wore on the second day of Coachella. This was the hottest day of them all so we had to get a little scandalous! I'm wearing a high wasited swim suit designed by my friend Ani, Check out her website here: www.anibikinis.com.

I wore a lace maxi skirt over, which went perfect with the high wasited bottoms. 

Jena is wearing a lace cropped top from urban and a mullet skirt. And of course we topped it off with a floral crown. Almost every girl at Coachella had one I swear! Saturday I got to see one of my favorite bands Two Door Cinema Club. Jena and I danced our little hearts out.

Coachella Day 1

This past weekend my dear friend Jena and I went to Coachella! It was simply amazing. Besides the music, one of my favorite parts of Coachella is the fashion. Girls really go all out! Jena and I were just outfit watching the whole time. I brought my camera and we did a little photo shoot before the festival each day. This week I'm going to be posting all of our Coachella ensembles! Here is another MG Taylor photo shoot I did wardrobe styling and art direction for.
I did a hand full of "decade" inspired shoots for them. This one is 1970's themed.
I got to dress my lovely model Lea in a such fun and colorful wardrobe!
I used new & vintage pieces in these looks. Many of the pieces are from one of my very favorite brands Free People.

I am already looking forward to spring! I miss wearing flowy dresses and dressing like a hippy.
This look is too perfect for Coachella! They just released the lineup and it's incredible. I just might have to go this year.......
