Sisters

___________________________

Yesterday my sister and I went outside and played with my new camera lens.  The 50mm lens is amazing. It was so fun messing with the depth of field and focus. I don't think i'll ever use my other lens again! Lately I've been getting more and more into photography. Below are some photos we captures of each other and of our beautiful surroundings.

Flower Child Wardrobe Styling

______________________

Here is another MG Taylor photo shoot I did wardrobe styling and art direction for.
I did a hand full of "decade" inspired shoots for them. This one is 1970's themed.
I got to dress my lovely model Lea in a such fun and colorful wardrobe!
I used new & vintage pieces in these looks. Many of the pieces are from one of my very favorite brands Free People.

I am already looking forward to spring! I miss wearing flowy dresses and dressing like a hippy.
This look is too perfect for Coachella! They just released the lineup and it's incredible. I just might have to go this year.......

Classy Girl

__________________________

I tend to gravitate to crazy trends more than classic styles. This is one of my favorite coats. The cut and fabric is so unique. I bought it years ago at a BCBG outlet and it's still in style. This coast is just one of those classic pieces that never go out.

50's Wardrobe Styling Job

___________________________

On top of designing I do some freelance wardrobe styling as well. A while back I styled and directed a few photo shoots for Chinese online magazine MG Taylor. They just released the pictures, so I figured I would share them with you guys! Over in China they are fascinated with the vintage styles in the U.S. because they are different from theirs. Most of the dresses and accessories I used in this shoot were thrifted from vintage stores in San Diego and San Francisco. We had a great team put together for this shoot. Below is a list of those involved.

All good things are wild & free

__________________________

First fashion post of the new year! I have been feeling inspired lately to explore and travel more often. This is my wild & free gypsy outfit. Perfect for a day of adventure. This skirt is my all time favorite, and what makes it even more amazing is it's made of velvet!

New Years Eve

____________________________

I am writing this with a slight hangover. I celebrated New Years eve last night at my lovely friend Corinne's house! It was a small get together, but those are always the best. We put on our fancy pants clothes on and welcomed in the new year with style! Below are some pictures I stole from Corinne's blog www.stuckwithpins.blogspot.com
